Merhaba, Gündüz Akşamoldu Fotoğraf Ailesi'ne Hoş Geldiniz!
Oldum olası insanların hikâyelerini merak etmişimdir. Her insan, ayrı bir kitaptır benim gözümde. Tek tek itinayla, altını çizerek, özümseyerek okunması gereken değerli bir kitap! Farklı hayatlar, farklı tecrübedir. Bu konuyu önemsememin nedeni, hem insanlarla empati kurarak ilişkilerimi olması gereken çizgide tutup kendi karakterimi güçlendirmek, hem de onlara el uzatarak omuz vermeyi istememdi. Bazen de onları örnek alıp, kendi yolumu güzelleştirmekti niyetim…
Bu düşünceden yola çıkarak, stüdyomuza gelen misafirlerimizle kurduğumuz sıcak ilişkiyi daha da güçlendirmek ve yeni tanışacaklarımızla da aradaki o ilk basamağı kolaylaştırmak adına kendimi tanıtmak istedim sizlere...
Ben Gündüz Akşamoldu, yüksek lisans haricinde, tüm eğitim hayatım İzmir'de geçti. Fotoğraf, benim hayatımda her zaman çok önemli bir yer tutmuştur. Bu mesleği seçmemdeki en büyük etken de budur kuşkusuz. Amacım, alışılagelmişin dışına çıkmak, saygı ve kaliteden asla taviz vermeden bu işi sürdürmek... En az fotoğrafçılık kadar önemsediğim ve eşzamanlı yürütmeye çalıştığım bir işim daha var; müzik! Çeşitli müzik gruplarında, albümlerde, konserlerde profesyonel olarak davul çaldım ve çalmaya da devam ediyorum. Hal böyle olunca bu iki işi birleştirip, video klipler yaptım, müzisyenlerin fotoğraflarını çekip albümler hazırladım.
Bizler size gelemiyoruz ama sizler lütfen gelin. Tanışmak için gelin, birlikte çay içip sohbet edelim. İnanın bu bizi çok sevindirir. Sohbetin konusu torununuz da olabilir, fotoğraf da... Belki de makinenizle ilgili danışacağınız bir şey olabilir. İster düğününüzü konuşalım, isterseniz konumuz havadan sudan olsun; fark etmez. Yeter ki sohbetimiz hoş olsun, hoşluk yaratsın gönüllerimizde… Dilerim, hayat akıp giderken anı denizimizde korunaklı, dingin ve mütevazı bir sandalımız olsun karşılıklı…

Hello, Welcome to Gündüz Akşamoldu Family!
I’ve always been interested in people’s stories. In my point of view every person is a different book. A precious book that needs to be read individually, carefully, assimilatingly and highlighted! Different lives mean different experiences. The reason I care about this is I want to strengthen my character by showing emphathy towards people and also to build warm relationships with them. And sometimes I intent to take example and beautify my own path on this cause.
With this in mind, to strengthen our warm relationships that we built with the guests came to our studio and to facilitate the first step in this new comes; I’d like to introduce myself a bit.
I’m Gündüz Akşamoldu. Exceptfor the master’s degree, my whole education life took place in İzmir. Taking photographs has always taken a very important place in my life. It’s the main factor in choosing this proffesion. My aim is to break with tradition and keep working on this job by making no concessions to courtesy and quality. I have another proffesion that I care as much as photography and try to perform simultaneously; music! I’ve professionally played and am playing drums with several bands, in albums and concerts. And yet I combined these two jobs, made video clips, took photographs of musicians and made albums.
We may not come to you but you guys please do. Come visit us in our studio; maybe just to meet and have a cup of tea. Believe it that makes us very happy. The topic of our convos can be your grandchild or photos… You can consult us about your camera, your wedding day or just a small talk; it doesn’t matter. As long as we have a nice conversation and cause good feelings in our hearts…I hope as life goes by we can make good memories with good intentions.
